Welcome to the home page headquarters for the martial art Kuk Sool Kwan, located in Irvine, California. Kuk Sool, the national martial art of Korea, is known as the preservation of the training regimen of the king's bodyguards from Korea, and is best described as a broad survey of martial techniques.

Nowadays, many people interested in martial arts are looking for a way to be active and achieve fitness while at the same time developing a powerful new outlook on life and a set of valuable self defense skills. Still others are fascinated by the ubiquity of the new sport known as Mixed Martial Arts, and would like to learn practical techniques associated with it, yet are turned off by the air of aggressiveness which seems to surround MMA practice halls.

Kuk Sool offers a fully rounded system with a complete range of practical techniques, from kickboxing to groundfighting, from grappling to throws, from weapons to meditation techniques, and is accessible to men, women and teens of any age. Kuk Sool provides fulfilling personal growth to many modern seekers of martial arts programs all while maintaining the air of tradition, respect and sanctity which once characterized the true martial arts.

The facility in Irvine also hosts a selection of other martial arts including Aiki-jutsu, Jujitsu/Judo, Tai Chi and kickboxing. Details, class schedule and specials for all classes can be found through the associated links on the menu to the left.
