Testing for advancement in Kuk Sool Kwan belt rank will be held again on Wednesday, June 25, 2010 at 6:30 pm . This will chiefly be a hard test, but those of you learning hapkido techniques may still test at this time as well.

The Kuk Sool Seal Gets An Upgrade

Thanks to JKN Dan Bukaty, the Kuk Sool seal (You know, "Kuk Sool Kie Ke, Kyung Ne") has cashed in its experience points and levelled up! The new gold/chrome finish brings some serious bling to the studio, and is certainly something worth noticing. You'll find yourself irresistably bowing to this magnificent symbol of our art not just at the beginning and end of class, but all during it, and even when you're at home!

Demo

The Demo on May 22 was a successful event. Thanks to everyone who came for all the food and good times. This was a dry run - more demos will be coming soon in more public venues.

Demo Wednesday

One of Master Dunchok's friends, Emilio Lavizzi, has arranged for a demo to be held at his son's French school. Emilio's students will be performing a 5 minute routine, after which Master Dunchok and Dahn Bo Nym Dan Bukaty will demonstrate Kuk Sool cane techniques, and Red Belt Tina Tsan will demonstrate nunchaku and hapkido techniques.
